Columbus, OH, July 21, 2026 — Next Monday, July 27, Daniel Mayer will join Encova as vice president, Claims – commercial liability, complex injury and litigation.

In this role Daniel will lead the commercial general liability, national injury and claims litigation functions across the organization. He will be responsible for driving operational performance, strengthening claims strategies and execution, advancing litigation management practices, and partnering across the business to support outcomes that protect policyholders while contributing to profitable growth.

Daniel brings nearly 20 years of insurance, legal and claims leadership experience, with deep expertise in complex casualty coverage, litigation governance and enterprise exposure management. Throughout his career he has led high-severity claims organizations, coverage counsel teams and litigation oversight functions for national commercial insurance carriers, serving as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on complex claims, coverage and risk matters.
